humyo.com is the culmination of considerable software, network and systems experience in the UK, Germany and the United States. humyo was founded in January 2007 by Dan Conlon and Peter Dubens who envisioned a safe, secure storage space, accessible from any device anywhere in the world as a single replacement for multiple unreliable and unconnected local and portable storage devices.

Peter Dubens, Chairman

Peter Dubens is is the co-founder of Oakley Capital Private Equity Partners LLP, a private equity fund investing in technology companies. He is also the co-founder of Oakley Capital Management Limited, a fund of hedge funds and was formerly Executive Chairman of Pipex Communications plc and 365 Media Group plc.

Dan Conlon, Managing Director

Dan founded Donhost in 2000 which with a reputation for technical innovation and peerless customer service quickly became one of the UK's most successful web hosting companies. Dan sold Donhost to Pipex Communications Plc. in 2005 in a multi-million pound deal and became MD of Pipex Hosting before leaving to co-found humyo in January 2007.

Mark Beyer, Marketing Director

After achieving his degree at the University of California LA, Mark joined Strato AG in Berlin. After overseeing the expanding company's marketing operations, Mark moved to the UK and launched 1&1 Internet Ltd. Soon after the company became one the biggest web hosts in the UK, Mark moved to the United States and repeated his launch success with 1&1 Internet Inc.
